NAVBO Membership Campaign

NAVBO is launching a new Member-Get-A-Member Campaign on July 1, 2008 which will run through December 31, 2008.

Current NAVBO members will be asked to recruit members to the society.  To aid them in this, they have received an email that will be suitable for them to forward to colleagues.  invite2join.doc

All members that refer a new member (whether it be a regular or trainee member) will be recognized on our web site and in our newsletter.

The member who refers the most new regular members will be given complimentary registration to a NAVBO meeting of their choice including: Vascular Biology, a NAVBO workshop* or Vasculata.  One complimentary registration will be given for the most new members referred from July 1 to September 30; another prize for the most new members referred from October 1 through December 31; and a third complimentary registration for the individual with the most referrals over the entire sixth month period. 

The following rules, stipulations apply to the complimentary registration:

            A minimum of three regular members must be referred (within each reward period: July/Sept, Oct/Dec and July/Dec)

            Registration is transferrable to an associate within your institution, but may not be sold. 

            Complimentary registration will be effective 01/01/2009 and will expire 12/31/2013.

            In the event of a tie, all tied competing members will receive a complimentary registration.

            IVBM 2010 in Los Angeles is excluded from this competition

            New members become eligible to participate in the contest

    Developmental Vascular Biology (February 10-14, 2010)

    Vascular Matrix Biology and Bioengineering (March 16-19, 2009)

    Biology of Signaling in the Cardiovascular System (September 2010)

    Genetics and Genomics of Vascular Diseases (September 14-17, 2009)

    Vasculata (2009 through 2013)
