NHLBI Meeting Report – Identifying Research Priorities for Heart Failure Prevention

NHLBI Working Group: Heart Failure Prevention - Identifying Research Priorities for the Next Decade

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) convened a Working Group on July 14-15, 2011 to discuss future directions of research in heart failure prevention. Specifically, the focus was to address the prevention of progression of heart failure from Stage B to C.  Experts were asked to identify the highest priority research gaps and make recommendations for future research strategies to address those gaps.
