Travel and Poster Awards at Vascular Biology 2019
Since the abstract submission deadline has been extended to August 12, deadline for application for travel awards has also been extended to August 12
Microcirculatory Society Travel Awards
MCS will present up to 2 Travel Awards valued at $500 each at Vascular Biology. In order to be eligible for the award you must:
- Be a MCS member
- Be a postdoc, graduate student, medical student or equivalent
- Submit an abstract to Vascular Biology
- Indicate that you would like to be considered for the award (check box within the abstract submission form)
- Register for the meeting by September 1
Awards will be announced prior to the meeting and will be presented at the Opening Session (Sunday, October 27 at 7:00pm).
French Society of Angiogenesis
SFA will present two travel awards - one to a Postdoc and one to a PhD Student/Candidate. SFA will provide these individuals with travel support to the meeting and the registration fee will be waived.

- Be a postdoc or a PhD student/candidate

Poster Awards at Vascular Biology 2019
ACS Publications will provide two poster awards, one to a graduate student and one to a postdoctoral fellow. These two awards will be judged and selected within the NAVBO Outstanding Poster Awards.
Travel Awards to the Vascular Matrix Biology and Bioengineering Workshop and
the Developmental Vascular Biology and Genetics Workshop
NAVBO will present up to sixteen Travel Awards
Travel Awards will be based on submitted abstracts. See abstract guidelines for more information.
Criteria:
- You must be a trainee member of NAVBO (your CV is required during the membership application process)
- You must submit an abstract to Vascular Biology 2019
- You must indicate on the abstract submission form that you want to be considered for the NAVBO Travel Award
- Only students (medical, graduate and undergraduate), post doctoral fellows and the equivalent are eligible. You must still be in this position at the time of the meeting (October 2018)
NAVBO will also sponsor a poster competition for trainees. Travel Award recipients will not be eligible for poster awards.
